Terms of Service - AI Roleplay Reviews

Welcome to the AI Roleplay Review Site (the “Site”), operated by PolyReview Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The Site publishes reviews, comparisons, guides, and commentary about AI roleplay and AI companion platforms.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site. Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

The Site discusses AI roleplay platforms, some of which offer adult-oriented content. The Site is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater). By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you may not use the Site.

2. Nature of Our Content

2.1 Editorial Independence

The reviews, ratings, rankings, and other editorial content published on the Site reflect our own independent research, testing, and opinions. Unless content is expressly marked as sponsored (see Section 2.2), it has not been paid for, commissioned, or approved by any platform, developer, or third party, and represents solely the honest opinions of our editorial team.

2.2 Sponsored Content

From time to time, the Site may publish sponsored content. Where content has been paid for or commissioned by a third party, it will be clearly and conspicuously labeled as such (for example, “Sponsored,” “Sponsored Post,” or “Paid Partnership”).

You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.

3. Third-Party Platforms and Links

We do not own, operate, control, or endorse any of the AI roleplay platforms, apps, or services reviewed or linked on the Site. When you follow a link to a third-party website or service (including via an affiliate link), you leave the Site, and your use of that third party’s service is governed entirely by its own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content, safety, availability, data practices, billing practices, or conduct of any third-party platform, and we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of them.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, reviews, ratings, graphics, logos, screenshots, and the selection and arrangement thereof, is owned by or licensed to PolyReview Group and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, share links to, and quote brief excerpts of our content for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you credit the Site and link back to the original page. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, scrape, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission. Trademarks, product names, and logos of third-party platforms mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners; their appearance on the Site does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.

5. Comments

5.1 Commenting Accounts

The Site allows visitors to post comments. Commenting requires authentication via Gravatar (a service operated by Automattic Inc.). Your use of Gravatar is subject to Automattic’s own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for that service. You are responsible for the security of your own account and for all activity conducted through it.

5.2 Your License to Us

You retain ownership of the comments you post. By posting a comment, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, reproduce, distribute, and moderate that comment on the Site and in connection with operating and promoting the Site.

5.3 Comment Rules

You agree that you will not post comments that:

are unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or obscene;
contain sexual content involving minors, or sexualize minors in any way;
contain your own affiliate links, referral codes, promotional links, or other advertising — users are not permitted to place their own affiliate or promotional links on the Site;
contain spam, malware, phishing links, or deceptive content;
infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
disclose another person’s personal information without their consent; or
impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

5.4 Moderation

We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, review, edit, decline to publish, or remove any comment for any reason, and we may block or ban users who violate these Terms. We are under no obligation to monitor comments, and comments posted by users reflect the views of their authors, not ours. We accept no responsibility or liability for user comments.

6. Acceptable Use of the Site

You agree not to: (a) use the Site in any way that violates applicable law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its server, or any connected systems; (c) use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access or harvest content or data from the Site, except as permitted by our robots.txt or with our written consent; (d) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site, including by transmitting malware or launching denial-of-service attacks; or (e) frame or mirror the Site without our written permission.

7. Privacy, Cookies, and Analytics

The Site runs on WordPress and is hosted by Kinsta. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns, and the Gravatar service in connection with comments. Details of what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding it are set out in our Privacy Policy. In addition, third-party platforms you reach via affiliate links may set their own cookies, which are governed by those parties’ own policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POLYREVIEW GROUP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE, ANY CONTENT ON THE SITE, ANY USER COMMENTS, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM OR SERVICE ACCESSED THROUGH THE SITE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PolyReview Group and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) any comment or other content you post; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site (including your ability to comment) at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Site, other users, or third parties. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 5.2, and 8 through 10) shall survive.

12. Changes to the Site and These Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Site.

13. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PolyReview Group regarding your use of the Site. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the Site.
